Trevor Berry and William Sawalich score Glass City 200 wins

Toledo Speedway hosted their signature event, the Glass City 200, on Saturday September 17. The race format had the Outlaw Super Late Models and the ARCA/CRA Super Series template bodied cars each competing for 100 laps at the lightning fast Toledo half mile.

For Berry, it was a race he had dreamed of winning, as he had grown up at Toledo watching his dad Dennis win three consecutive Iceman Series championships.

Sawalich, who is a 15 year old from Eden Prairie , Minnesota, was competing at Toledo for the first time, and passed Jesse Love in the closing laps to take the win.

Winners were;

  • Trevor Berry #16 in the Outlaw Super Late Model 100 lap portion
  • William Sawalich #24s in the ARCA/CRA Super Series 100 lap portion
